GIS (Geographic Information System)

GIS Habitat Map
Habitat maps are created using GIS

Much of the work undertaken by Martin Ecology is transferred on to GIS and it is an invaluble tool when it comes to presenting spatial data. Features and habitats can transferred on to GIS and then effectively presented in a clear and accessible map. GIS can also be used to map and analyse a particular species's use of the site, for example foraging and commuting bats or badgers.

The format we use is Mapinfo and so we can incorporate any of your data requirements, such as landscaping plans in to the final map. The data that we produce on GIS can be provided in various file formats to suit the client.
